How To Configure The Progress Bar In A Campaign To Use Historic Giving

The Progress bar that shows in the Campaign detail page when a Goal Amount is set, by default, is getting the data from Contributions. However, this can be configured so it gets the data from Historic Giving instead. This is useful for cases where gifts towards the project are imported manually as historic gifts. Configuring this setting is also useful for cases where the admin is tracking finances that have gone to a campaign in the dashboard. Below is an example of a dashboard that tracks payments towards a fund:

Here are the steps to configure this to get the data from Historic Giving:

• In the /admin side of Site Stacker, click the Contributions component

• On the left side of the window, click the Categories tab.

• Right-click on the Campaign Category and click Edit.

• Click the ‘Historic Giving Totals’ checkbox and click ‘Save & Close’.
